We’re excited you’ve decided to join us! You are on your way to becoming a Lingraphica Certified Technology Specialist – an elite group of SLPs who are proficient in Lingraphica’s technologies and work closely with Lingraphica to optimize outcomes for people with aphasia and other communication impairments.
The 3 Steps to Becoming an LCP Member
Step 1: Watch Our On-Demand Webinar
Lingraphica Technologies for Your Plan of Care is a one-hour webinar that includes an overview of both the LCP program and Lingraphica’s technologies. After you watch the webinar, complete the quick learning assessment and course evaluation.
Step 2: Take Our In-Depth On-Demand CE Courses
A Case for Tech: Lingraphica AAC Devices and QuickAssess and its sister course, A Case for Tech: TalkPath Therapy and TalkPath News provide in-depth clinical information around implementing Lingraphica technologies in your practice. This course is two-hours long, broken into two, one-hour long modules. Each module must be completed to earn 2 hours of ASHA CEU credit.
Step 3: Complete Two Self-Study Courses
The TalkPath Therapy and AAC Device Trial self-study courses are an excellent opportunity to put what you learned in the preceding courses into practice. They can be completed individually or at the same time.
Note: Each course requires you to report the time you’ve spent on separate downloadable logs that are featured below.
TalkPath Therapy Self-Study
This course requires you to use TalkPath Therapy, set up programs for clients, review articles, and a course evaluation, while logging a total of 7 hours of work.
To start, schedule a 30-minute meeting with Lingraphica’s clinical program manager.
You can download the course log here, and when finished, complete the course here.
AAC Device Trial Self-Study
This course requires you to identify a client who would make a good candidate for a Lingraphica AAC device trial and subsequently conduct the trial alongside a Lingraphica Clinical Consultant. Note that you can submit a benefit check at any time during your LCP onboarding. Lastly, this course will require you to log between 8 and 24 hours.
You can download the course log here, and when finished, complete the course here.
That’s it! Once you’ve completed these three simple steps, you’re officially a Lingraphica Certified Technology Specialist.
