I totally understand. It is so frustrating & depressing, when you (I), know how you (I), USED TO think & function; compared to how you (I), think NOW!
My best advice is to give yourself credit for the little (which are actually not so little!), achievements, EVERYDAY! Try not to compare yourself. And BREATHE when you need to!
Keep working at it & you will continue to improve.
